My MP has gone AWOL

There is an important debate in Commons going on about £500m (EUR730m) worth Crossrail transport link and the MP whose constituency will be most affected is not going to take part in it!
He's neither sick, nor nobody in his family died - he simply chose spending time with other "celebrities" (apart of Dennis Rodman I hardly know any of those apparently famous people!) in the Big Brother house!
I'm "lucky" to live in Stepney Green and that makes famous 'Gorgeous George' Galloway my MP. Most likely you heard about him from his famous speech made in front of US Senate (they were questioning him over his participation in "oil for food" scandal), when he called Bush a liar and a terrorist.
I'm not too sure if this entry is supposed to be funny or tragic - most likely most of you will find it funny, but believe me, most of people living in Bethnal Green and Bow constituency are not laughing about that!

Technology addiction

My laptop is broken – CD drive refused cooperation and tonight, after talking to HP’s technician based in Chennai for over an hour, it is official that my computer requires a personal attention from HP staff. So tomorrow somebody from local office will come to take away my favourite toy from me. Luckily I still have the warranty, coz after India trip my cash flow is slightly strained (it is an euphemistic way to say I’m broke;)).

For the last few months I got used to having all my files and photos in one place, checking private email after coming back from work, watching DVDs and other things so much, that I start wondering how I ever managed to survive without it! Clearly not a good sign!!!

Actually I will have more time in next few days and when my laptop will be fixed so I should use this time wisely and do some things I haven’t been doing for a while like reading more books, labelling my photos, etc.
I’m admitting that I got addicted to this little silver machine slightly too much and this detox will do me good!

Hard landing

When I was leaving to India I didn't expect I will have such fantastic holidays!
Everything was perfect: the weather, experience, people, food... I managed to see and do quite a few things but without stretching the agenda too much so I had also plenty of time for lazing around: I was eating whenever I was hungry:

And I was sleeping whenever I was tired

Now I'm back in grey and cold London, the tube staff is on strike, again I have to cook for myself (OK, I admit - I got badly spoilt during my holidays:))) and I need to wear an awful lot of clothes to keep myself warm!

At least I have my memories - I will have to now write down all my adventures and upload photos. I hope it will not take me forever to do that!
