I'm back
I'm back.
Still jet lagged like hell. Haven't had such horrible time-change related problems for ages now. Makes me feel like staying on the ground for a while...
Trip to New Zealand and back finished before I even noticed. But still, I'm so happy I was there, saw all darling faces and places I remember so well. Throughout the trip it felt so surreal to be back in New Zealand, there were moments where I felt that I had never left and now it's somehow hard to believe that I'd ever been there.
It felt like real 'going back home' experience...
I managed to satisfy my coffee fetish (long live flat white!!!)
Had gorgeous food (forgot how tasty food is in New Zealand. Now I know why I put so much weight there those 4 years ago:)
Attended Shalan's wedding.
Realised that my fellow countrymates are everywhere in the world now! While during my 18-months stay in New Zealand in 02/03 I had heard Polish randomely on a street only once, like this time within 12 days I heard it 3 times!!!!Shocker)
Seen Pohutukawa's blooming - will never stop loving those trees
Visited 100 Kelburn Parade. Hard to believe that NZ MC still sticks to that house, but on the other hand this house bears so many memories for all of us!
Realised that weather in summer Wellington can be worse (rainier and colder) than winter in London! No more bitching about the aura over here please!
At the moment in process of sorting out the photos I took there and uploading them on the web. Unfortunately I'm not a pro like Gits who already did that (When did you do that? What about study and work? Do you ever sleep girl???)
Anyways I'm hoping to post them with some more stories soon...
