Mussels in Brussels...

I didn’t write here for a while but this weekend made me to change this fact: spent very fantastic two days in Brussels.
Great city, awesome food and beer and even better hosts taking care of us made this short trip really special and hopefully I will be back in Belgium some time soon.
Apart of doing touristy things in Brussels (although haven’t seen Manneken Pis) we did some picnicking, beer drinking and even kayaking. Pictures soon to follow.

Didn’t enjoy my weekend like this for a while and big round of applause should go to Volodja and Adriana for organising our time in Brussels.

Very special bond

We tend to do same things at the same time...
Having a haircut on the same day, writing CVs at the same time, going for business trips around same date.

Many would call it coincidence, but after today I'm determined to say it's something more than that.

We both took sick leave for the first time in our careers, both struggling with pain that could be soothed by ice cream :)

All of this despite being separated by almost 11,000 kilometres and 7 hours in time difference.

It feels awesome to have somebody like that in the world :)

Sweet medicine?

Stuck at home with fever and sore throat - feeling really rubbish.

Yesterday got perscribed antibiotics and ice cream for it - that's some mix! Still would prefer eat ice cream just for pleasure rather than sooth my pain!

An art of busking

In London you are exposed to buskers on every step: streets, tube, shopping malls and enywhere else you can imagine. In majority of the cases they are between good and very good, some of them are outstanding. Also most of them is very original - my personal favourite is a didgeridoo guy from Picadilly Circus tube station (although haven't been there for a while trying desperatelly to avoid crowds there and I don't know if he's still there).
But I was shocked and amased by this guy in Salzburg (sorry for the quality of the recording, no idea where this howling came from! :)
London buskers have still something to learn...
